Brand Name Watches: Jacques Lemans

brand name watchesFew brand name watches are as luxurious as those by Jacques Lemans. Jacques Lemans makes excellent watches for both men and women. These are some of the most elegant watches on the market and are perfect for dressing to impress. Naturally, they make great gifts.

For women I would suggest the Jacques Lemans La Passion Silver and Black 1-1308A. This watch has a beautiful band that could pass as a bracelet even without the watch face. The face itself is petite, elegant and very feminine. Although it comes in both black and silver colors, I would suggest the black. The silver is all silver and lacks contrast. Meanwhile the black model has both black and silver which creates a great contrast and increased wrist presence.

For men I would suggest Jacques Lemans Liverpool GMT 1-1584O Gents Watch. This all back, ceramic banded, men’s watch is complex and sophisticated. It has 3 separate semi-circle displays making it look unlike any multi-display watch on the market. This would make a great James Bond watch. There is a lot happening on the face of this watch so it may be hard to read for some people. Once you get used to it however, it is easy to read and looks great.

Fossil Watches for Hittin’ Da Club

fossil watchesFossil watches have a sleek and chic look that makes them ideal for the office or the upscale nightclub, bar or lounge. They are also durable which means they can last through long nights of partying, conversing, and dancing.

For men, no watch is as ideal a clubbing companion as the Fossil Men’s FS4483 Sport Black Diamond-Accented Dial Watch. This watch is all black, except for a diamond at 12 o’clock and some silver accenting. Styles come and go but black never goes out of style, especially in the world of late night partying. This watch goes great with a suit and tie, or something more casual like dark jeans and a t-shirt.

Fossil watches have always been popular in club scene. They seem to have their finger on the pulse of that particular market, so I do not think their popularity will wane in the near future.

Lacoste Watches

brand name watchesWhen we think of brand name watches the first thing that pops into our head isn’t Lacoste. Usually mentioning Lacoste conjures images of their trademark crocodile logo, polo shirts and croc sandals. Lacoste has, however, recently stepped into the watch market. In the same way Guess was a successful clothing company that then started producing Guess watches (or Puma with the production of Puma watches), Lacoste is hoping their success as fashionable clothing brand will translate into success as a watchmaker.

One of my favorite Lacoste watches it the Lacoste Ladies Goa Watch. This watch is a good translation of Lacoste’s clothing style into watches. It has bright complementary colors, is relatively simple in design, and of course has the trademark crocodile on the face. If you are a lady who enjoys colorful watches this watch is for you. It is clear this watch was designed to go with other Lacoste attire.

The Lacoste Sport Collection Biarritz White Dial Women’s Watch is a bit dressier and is clearly designed to win watch enthusiasts for the Lacoste brand. It is less colorful and more versatile as a watch. It is still however, very much in Lacoste’s style as you can tell by the prominent crocodile on the face.

Guess Watches for Ladies

For a splash of fun color I would go with the Guess Ladies Chronograph Blue or Pink Watch. These watches have beautifully colored, patterned leather straps. The faces refract rainbow hues because they are made with elegant mother of pearl.

Another great Guess Watch that can add some color to your wardrobe is the Guess Ladies Balcony Maroon Patent Leather Strap Watch. It may be a bit hard to incorporate such a vibrant shade of maroon into your every day outfits, but when you can it is guaranteed to look great.

Although Tomato is not as well-known as some of the bigger watch makers they are gaining ground fast due to their extensive collection and well-designed watches. If you want to try something new when purchasing your next watch, I would suggest choosing from the Tomatoes watches catalog.

For men I would suggest the Tomato Mens Square Black Dial and Black Leather. Tomato makes a lot of square faced watches so they know what they are doing. This watch is sleek, professional and very masculine. The black and white Roman numerals on the face are elegantly illustrated and draw you in. The screws around the face compliment the design which is interesting. Most watch makes try to hide the screws but here Tomato is incorporating them into the design.

For women I would suggest the Tomato Ladies Gold Bangle Watch with stones. This watch also has a square face but it is incorporated into a bangle bracelet. The bangle is gold and crusted with stones so this watch really looks like a piece of jewelry. The face of the watch is discreetly tucked into the stone set pattern making it readable but not taking away from the watch as a piece of jewelry.

This watch is practical fashion for the digital age. It also has remarkable readability. In just a microsecond’s glance you can clearly read the time of day, day of the week, and date. Green is my favorite color for this Fossil watch but it is also available in red and purple.

For a more feminine Fossil watch I would suggest the Fossil Women’s ES2443 Black Enamel Bracelet Black Analog Dial Watch. It has a sort of sporty elegance to it. It is classic watch design meets practical Fossil craftsmanship. This watch makes a great gift, any woman is sure to love it. Guess Collection Watches for Women and Men

Guess Collection watchesGuess has always been synonymous with casual, stylish clothing and watches. Guess watches look great and are not too ornate. Guess makes the best watches for casual daily wearing. They are not flashy, but in a good way. They exude subtle sophistication, and they have great offerings for men and women.

One of my favorite Guess Collection watches for women is the Guess Ladies White Rose Watch. At first glance it looks like a simple but elegant white watch with crystals encircling the face. The face, however, contains a beautiful white rose blooming from the center of the watch. The design is very intricate and subtle and plays with many different shades and tones of white.

One of the many Guess Collection watches I would recommend for men is the Guess Men’s Black Cuff. This watch is a bit edgy but it is also very fashionable. Cuff watches are very trendy right now, and I think they will be for awhile to come. This cuff watch also features a beautiful  silver to black gradient on its face.

Slowing Time With Elegant Watches

Of course we did many different things, had new experiences this year, but still it’s easy to compress all of those memories into one single pin prick of emotion — 2011, the year we…

Another year means we are older, that we have more experience, more wisdom to draw upon. How will we remember to make life slower this next year? Buy elegant watches, perhaps. That will allow you to work with time instead of playing fast and loose with it, allowing the months to run into each other, which, like the breaking of a bill, are once broken, soon spent.

But with brand name watches you can more easily remind yourself of what it is you’re doing. How long it’s been since you bought your watch and what it has influenced you to do. You may not remember all of the things about this year, all of the rich memories and new experiences, but you can certainly come back to them, or rather allow them to come back to you.

Puma Watches a New Face for Sporty Chic

When I was 18 I ran the New York City marathon. I did it again a few years later and plan to do it next year as well. As a runner, it’s important to be able to keep track of your pace, your heart rate, and most importantly how long a run is taking you.

Sport watches today are huge, bulky, things that do more than you need. And they definitely aren’t good for every day wear. Puma watches are putting their own new spin on the sporty style. Large Chronograph Watches for Women

It’s elegant, it’s perfect for formal wear on with your business attire at work. It took quite some time before brand name watches for women began to change, began to become more masculine in style. Today, women can enjoy chronographs and skeleton watches, watches that were once reserved mainly for men.

Women’s watches are full of style and pizazz. They’re still appropriate for everyday wear, but they’re a little more sporty while still remaining quite fashionable.
